New Year ... New Start!

--WOW--
It has been way too long since I updated this! OOPS! Time just slips away from you when you are having sooo much fun!

Well lets see...AH YES!!! Big News!!! The divorce is finally final! YAAAA---HHHHOOOOOO!!!!! It was signed by the judge on December 18th! It was actually a huge suprise. Mom called the courts right before they headed down to Shellie's and they showed that nothing had been signed. On Sunday, Sandy- my friend and mom's friend from Layton, texted mom and told us congrats! We had no clue!

That weekend was totally awesome! I was able to go to a Christmas party and just spend time with my friend and his awesome loving family. We headed out from there and went down to see Shellie, Hans, Gabe and Hiett and that devil of a dog! We had so much fun talking and watching the boys open their presents.

When we got home, mom gave me an envelope that Bishop Edwards gave her to give to me. When I opened it...It had $200 dollars with a note that said for me to spend it on Brynlee and myself for Christmas. It was such a blessing! So THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

**I recently decided to start up my Miracle Meals by Melissa! I am sooo excited to start it up! I actually quit Pinnacle so that I could spend more time with Brynlee and this will make it so I can spend time with her and teach her things at the same time! I am sooooo excited! If you would like more info about it...feel free to e-mail me!

The New Me

I would like for all my family and friends to know how lucky and grateful I am to have the church in my life again. I was lost and very stupid for so many years. I feel so complete now. I know where I am supposed to be.
I know this church is true. I know that my brother, Jesus Christ, suffered for all my sins and died for me. I know and believe that if I live righteously - I will be able to return to Him. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. He sent it to guide us, help us and teach us many wonderful things. I know that all of the prophets have been called by God to guide and direct us. I believe every word that Thomas S. Monson speaks. He is our true latter day prophet. I know that God listens to our prayers, I know he loves us. I know that he only gives us trials that he knows that we can handle.
I am so blessed to have Brynlee in my life. I cherish and love every moment that I have with her. I am so blessed to of had God send me this little spirit and to raise her. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful daughter. She can always make me smile, even when she wakes up at 2 am for a feeding. She is everything to me and I am so lucky to have my freedom and to raise her in this Gospel.
I am so thankful for all my family members. You have all helped me grow in so many ways. You have always supported me thru everything, even when it was totally stupid. You are my best friends.
I am so lucky to have a father who is worthy to give me priesthood blessing and a father's blessing when I have asked. I have needed it a lot lately. I am so grateful for my mother who has helped in grow and has taught me many things. She always says that she has learned so much from me, but really mom and dad, I wouldn't be who I am today without your help and teachings. I am blessed with terrific parents. I know that God sent me to this family for a reason. I just have to remind myself sometimes what that reason is. :)
I am so lucky and blessed to live in this beautiful country. I have my freedoms. I am so thankful to anyone and everyone who protects what I hold so dear to my heart. Thank you to the men and women in the armed forces that have gone and risked their lives to protect my freedoms. Thank you to their families, it cannot be easy to have your children go over to Iraq, to put on a shield, to fight fires, to put themselves in danger for people you don't know. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! May God be with you, Bless you, and keep you safe.

Love Melissa
